Welcome to Raahi ("Raahi," "we," "our," or "us"). Raahi operates a dual-sided marketplace platform connecting individuals seeking local services and experiences ("Buyers") with independent service providers, professionals, and businesses ("Vendors").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you access or use the Raahi website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

Raahi is currently intended for users located within the United States. By creating an account or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy.

We require affirmative consent to this Privacy Policy during account registration through a click-wrap acceptance mechanism. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Platform.

Raahi does not store complete credit card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account credentials used for payment processing. Payment information is processed by PCI-compliant third-party payment providers.

  • EIN or SSN when legally required
  • Government-issued identification documents
  • Date of birth
  • Banking information necessary for payouts

D. Biometric Information and Identity Verification

To verify identity and prevent fraud, users may be required to submit:

  • Live photographs ("selfies")

Our identity-verification providers may analyze facial geometry, facial landmarks, and related biometric identifiers solely for identity verification purposes.

By participating in identity verification, users expressly consent to the collection, processing, storage, and destruction of biometric information as described in this Policy.

Biometric information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to complete verification or comply with applicable law and is permanently deleted thereafter.

E. Background Checks and Screening

Where permitted by law, Raahi or its service providers may conduct background checks, sanctions screenings, fraud screenings, watchlist screenings, or other risk assessments on Vendors.

Information used for these screenings may include identity verification records, licensing information, criminal-history information where legally permissible, and other relevant compliance data.

Results may be used to approve, deny, suspend, restrict, or terminate marketplace participation.

F. Location Information

With your permission, we may collect precise or approximate geolocation information to:

  • Match Buyers with nearby Vendors
  • Improve local search functionality
  • Prevent fraud
  • Improve marketplace operations

Location permissions may be disabled through device settings, although certain Platform features may not function properly without them.
